The Pocket Hose. Kevin's Review

As the Pocket Hose promises:

"The Hose That Fits In A Pocket But Grows To A Full Size Hose".

Now let me start by saying this,  "Time will tell".  The reason Im going to start at this point is because I have been scouring the internet reading other peoples reviews and they are less than promising.  I have only owned this hose for a couple of days, and have not had any of the problems listed but I do in fact have my doubts:

"Plastic end pieces crack or leak"
"Hose develops pin holes and drips"
"Hose, if left full of water under pressure, will burst"

What I do love about the Pocket  Hose, and the reason for my write up , is the fact it is super light and very easy to manage around the yard.  The Pocket Hose has yet to tangle or kink, and stores super easy in a flower pot sitting right by your hose bib.  If this thing lasts, I plan on purchasing a couple more....

Cheers ~ Kevin

  1. I purchased this hose about 6 weeks a go and it is already in the trash. I only used it about 6 or 7 times. I only used it to water the yard with a manual sprinkler. Never a closed end. The last time I turned it on the hose just popped apart in the middle, no way to put it back together. Would not purchase another. A few flaws need to be worked out.

  4. we purchased a pocket hose a few weeks ago. we hav used it several times in the yard and garden. i have not left it pressurized for an extended period of time (about 30 minutes at a time is all i need). I LOVE the ease of use and compact storage of this thing!! we bought a bulky, heavy, pain in the neck traditional hose the same day, i ALWAYS opt for the pocket hose! Hope it keeps holding up, i sure would miss its handiness!!!!!

    1. So far our Pocket hose has been holding up great! I noticed a little tiny leak from around the plastic shut off but a metal replacement is very easy to obtain.

  5. I love mine too - but it does leak around the end. How to you put those new ends on?

  6. I told my husband about you testing the hose. So I thought we should do the same thing. We bought one and the very first time we used it, it broke. My husband was washing the car and something popped off and it's history after one use. I don't think we should have to replace a part after one use. We won't buy another one.
